المملكة: Urgent: The start of the Umrah season for the year 1448 AH… and the start of issuing visas tomorrow, Sunday
Declared Makkah Al-Mukarramah The issuance of Umrah permits via the “Nusak” application will begin as of Dhu al-Hijjah 15, 1447 AH, corresponding to June 1, 2026, allowing pilgrims to perform their rituals according to easy digital procedures that contribute to improving the visitor experience and enhancing the efficiency of the services provided.
The Ministry indicated that the operational calendar for the season includes a number of preparatory and organizational stages, which began by holding workshops and preparatory meetings with Umrah companies and agents. External affairs, through the launch of electronic contracting services and the qualification of agents, all the way to the start of issuing visas and receiving pilgrims from various countries of the world.
He said in a voice in which feelings of joy and sadness were mixed: I came to this trip carrying the wish of Hajj for many years, and today I leave and God has granted me the grace to fulfill it
Issuing Umrah visas
The Ministry confirmed that the first of Shawwal 1448 AH, corresponding to March 9, 2027, will be the last date for issuing Umrah visas, while Shawwal 15, 1448 AH, corresponding to March 23, 2027, will be the last date for pilgrims to enter the Kingdom, according to the approved timetable to ensure the smooth flow of operational processes. And the system’s readiness for the Hajj season.
She added that Shawwal 30, 1448 AH, corresponding to April 7, 2027, represents the last date for the departure of pilgrims from the Kingdom, calling on Umrah companies, service providers and external agents to adhere to the specified dates, instructions and regulatory procedures issued by the Ministry.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stressed that the early preparations for the Umrah season come as an extension of its continuous efforts to develop the services provided to the guests of God, Increasing the operating capacity of the system, and providing a distinguished faith experience based on digital solutions and integration between various relevant parties, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in serving the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques and facilitating the performance of their rituals.
