The UAE condemns the targeting of a Lebanese army vehicle in southern Lebanon
Abu Dhabi, June 7 / WAM / The UAE expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli targeting of a Lebanese army vehicle in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the killing of a number of soldiers.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s categorical rejection of any attacks that affect Lebanon’s sovereignty, security, and stability, or target its legitimate institutions.
The Ministry stressed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Lebanese government and its support at this critical stage that brotherly Lebanon is going through, affirming its firm commitment to supporting Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the families and loved ones of the victims, and to the government of Lebanon and its brotherly people, in this attack.
