Sharjah is champion of the cycling league with the full mark for the second year in a row

Sharjah, June 8 / WAM / Sharjah Sports Club was crowned champion of the Cycling League – Youth Category with the full mark for the second time in a row, and its players received the championship cup during the closing ceremony of the sports season organized by the Emirates Cycling Federation at its headquarters in Sharjah.

The crowning of Sharjah Club with the second title came after an exceptional season during which the team succeeded in imposing absolute control over the championship competitions after a distinguished journey during which it confirmed its superiority over various competitors to continue its strong presence in cycling and add a new achievement to its record of championships.

This season’s cycling league witnessed the participation of 16 clubs that competed over a number of rounds, but the Sharjah Club players imposed their dominance from the beginning to the end, and the team succeeded in winning all the rounds at the individual and team levels without suffering any loss, an achievement that reflects the amount of technical and administrative work expended throughout the season.

In terms of individual results, Sharjah players were on the podium after player Saif Mohammed Thani Al-Ghawi won the league title and the first place cup after a series of distinguished results and consistent performance throughout the season’s competitions, while his teammate Salman Mansouri won the place cup and the runner-up title, confirming the club’s players’ superiority and control over the tournament competitions.

The Sharjah Club Cycling Cubs succeeded in obtaining third place in the overall league standings, adding a new achievement to the club’s record and confirming the strong presence of various age groups in cycling.
