Children are dying.. The United Nations demands the lifting of the American oil blockade on Cuba

Trump’s threats to Cuba

Harsh sanctions regimes

The sanctions regimes, Türk said. This harsh, non-discriminatory, and extremely harsh impact on peoples is inconsistent with the basic principles of international human rights law.
He believed that rising temperatures in the summer also threaten to increase the spread of vector-borne and water-borne diseases, and he also warned that the hurricane season increases exposure to risks.
Turk called on companies and institutions around the world to avoid excessive severity in applying sanctions or systematic disengagement from the island.
At the same time, he called on Havana to be patient. With the utmost restraint and respect for the rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly.
