The program referred the establishments and individuals involved to the competent authorities to complete legal verification procedures. This step aims to pave the way for the implementation of deterrent regulatory penalties against violators as soon as violations are proven.

The most prominent oversight rounds

The oversight rounds focused on vital sectors, topped by Retail sales activities for frozen meat and poultry, wholesale and retail trade for new car spare parts and decorations, and maintenance centers.
The supervision also included the general construction sector for residential buildings, and the field of land transportation of goods, in addition to catering stores.

The anti-concealment system imposes severe penalties that include imprisonment for a period of up to five years, and the payment of financial fines amounting to five million riyals. These provisions are accompanied by the seizure and confiscation of illicit funds acquired from the activity immediately after the issuance of final judicial rulings.

Those involved are subject to severe consequential penalties, including closing the facility and completely liquidating its activity, in addition to writing off the commercial register and being banned from practicing commercial work. The deterrent measures include the collection of all government dues, including zakat, fees, and taxes.

The package of penalties concludes with defaming violators, permanently deporting concealed foreigners from the Kingdom’s lands, and absolutely prohibiting them from returning to work.
