Spotted Riyadh Municipality More than 70 violations of Saudi Building Code In the city of Riyadh, there are engineering and consulting offices and contractors carrying out construction work, and legal measures were taken against them after their violations were proven, with the aim of enhancing compliance with the technical and regulatory requirements of the Saudi Building Code, raising the quality of building and construction work, and maintaining the safety of buildings.

The Secretariat indicated that the measures taken included canceling the license of an engineering office after it was proven that it violated the requirements of the Saudi Building Code, in addition to 21 designed consulting offices, 41 supervisory consulting offices, and 16 implementation contractors violated.

The observed violations, according to the Saudi Building Code Violations Classification Regulations, included failure to submit a soil test study from an accredited office, and submitting a soil test that included unhealthy information in a way that affects
