Statistics Center – Abu Dhabi and"Kizad" They are discussing cooperation in the field of industrial and economic data
Abu Dhabi, June 12 / WAM / The Statistics Center – Abu Dhabi and Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kizad Group discussed enhancing their cooperation in exchanging and integrating economic and industrial data related to manufacturing activities, logistics services, commercial activities and free zones that contribute to the Abu Dhabi economy, and in a way that supports efforts aimed at raising the level of consistency between business records, administrative data sources and sectoral economic statistics.
This came during a visit by a delegation from the center to the group. Representatives of both sides reviewed Kizad’s operations, its industrial system, and its future expansion plans, in addition to discussing opportunities to develop data exchange and enhance statistical coordination between the two sides.
The visit program included field tours to a number of industrial facilities in Kizad, where the delegation was briefed on manufacturing processes, automation technologies, robotics applications, and advanced production environments.
His Excellency Abdullah Gharib Al Qamzi, Director General of the Statistics Center – Abu Dhabi, said that official economic statistics depend on sustainable cooperation with the entities that produce and manage economic activity data in the emirate, and that cooperation with the Kizad Group comes within the framework of the Center’s approach aimed at enhancing statistical coverage and deepening sectoral understanding of industrial, logistical and commercial activities, as they are among the main components of Abu Dhabi’s economy, pointing out that this cooperation contributes to the development of more comprehensive and accurate official indicators that support evidence-based planning and keep pace with priorities. The emirate has long-term development.
For his part, Mohammed Al Khader Al Ahmad, CEO of Kizad Group, said that accurate economic data is an essential foundation for supporting government planning, guiding investor decisions, and enabling industrial systems to expand with confidence, noting that Kizad Group plays a pivotal role in manufacturing activities, logistics services, and free zones in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which provides a direct and clear view of the sectors, companies, and investment flows that shape the features of the emirate’s non-oil economy.
He added that cooperation with the Statistics Center – Abu Dhabi contributes to strengthening the link between operational data and official statistics, which supports the accuracy of measuring economic performance, contributes to formulating more effective policies, and stimulates sustainable industrial growth.
