General Manager "Emirates Studies" Meets with Deputy Minister of the Foreign Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China

BEIJING, 13 JUNE / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Sultan Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, met with His Excellency Shen Jin, Deputy Minister of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, during the Center’s visit to the People’s Republic of China, during its tour of Australia and East Asia within the “EC-Global Roundtable” program, and with the participation of a delegation of the Centre’s experts.

During the meeting, relations of cooperation and friendship between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China were discussed, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, most notably the current developments in the Middle East region and their repercussions on regional and international security and stability.

During the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Muhammad Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of enhancing cognitive dialogue and communication with think tanks, decision makers, and research institutions around the world, stressing at the same time the importance of the Chinese role in achieving stability and development in the region.
