"Dubai lands" and"Community Development Authority" They launch the second phase of the program "Barwa"

Dubai, June 18 / WAM / The Dubai Land Department, in cooperation with the Dubai Community Development Authority, today organized the first interactive workshops within the second phase of the “Barwa” programme, the first sustainable social and humanitarian real estate program of its kind in the region, at the Al Barsha Community Center in a step aimed at enhancing the awareness of senior citizens about the real estate services available to them and facilitating their benefit from them in a way that takes into account their needs and supports their independence and quality of life.
This workshop comes within a series of interactive meetings organized by the department during the months of June and July 2026, which will continue through other sessions at the Thukher Club in the Al Wasl and Al Khawaneej areas.
The launch of this phase came as a continuation of the successes achieved by the program since its inauguration, as more than 18,599 senior citizens and people of determination benefited from its various services, including 11,293 men and 7,306 women, which reflects the increasing demand for real estate services designed specifically for senior citizens and people of determination and confirms the importance of the program in enabling them to manage their real estate properties with ease.
The number of transactions submitted through the department’s centres, registration secretaries’ centers and service secretaries within the “Al Barzah” and “Al Karrani” initiatives within the framework of the program amounted to about 24,844 transactions, while the number of transactions from the “Al Kaitoob” initiative through the “Dubai Rest” application reached 1,895 transactions.
As for the “Al-Marsal” initiative, it received 3,484 calls through the call center, witnessed the implementation of 712 questionnaires, and achieved a high customer happiness rate that reached 94 percent.
The second phase of the program includes a series of interactive introductory meetings held under the slogan “Barwa… because you are a wealth that deserves to be forced” with the aim of introducing senior citizens to the program’s services and the mechanisms for benefiting from them.
Al Barsha Community Center witnessed the first of these meetings, and the sessions will continue on June 24 at the Thukher Club Center in Al Safa Park in the Al Wasl area, and will conclude on July 7 at the Thukher Club in the Qur’anic Park in the Al Khawaneej area.
These meetings provide a platform for direct communication with beneficiaries and introducing them to the real estate services available to them through an interactive method that combines direct explanation, practical applications, and the use of “Barwa” program characters, which contributes to delivering information and services in a simplified manner that is close to their needs.
Khalifa Al-Salfa, a senior administrative advisor in the Office of the Director General at Dubai Lands, said that the “Barwa” program relies on an integrated system of services and initiatives specifically designed to meet the needs of senior citizens and people of determination by reaching them in their places and providing them with appropriate support without the need to move. This includes mobile real estate services through “Al-Tarish” and the “Al-Karani” service that provides a personal assistant to follow up on transactions, in addition to the “Al-Kitub” platform for remote property management and the “Al-Marsal” service for digital support. Immediate.
He added that the program includes specialized real estate and financial advisory services and real estate awareness and education initiatives through the “Real Estate Books” as well as the “Al-Barza” halls designated to receive senior citizens and people of determination, and the “Al-Hasala” program, which provides real estate management, maintenance, and consulting services through partners from the private sector, in addition to the “Register of Distinguished People,” which enhances integration between the department and the Community Development Authority to provide more integrated and personalized services to the beneficiaries.
He said that the program embodies the commitment of the Dubai Land Department to develop an integrated model of real estate services with a human dimension by reaching the beneficiaries in their places and providing them with appropriate support through a set of field, digital and advisory initiatives and services in a way that enhances their independence and preserves their real estate rights.
Muhannad Saeed, Director of the Senior Citizens Department at the Community Development Authority, said that the “Barwa” program came as a result of realistic studies and participatory sessions that monitored the actual needs of senior citizens, specifically in the real estate sector, including buying, selling and leasing operations. The program includes a package of services and axes designed to facilitate procedures and provide the necessary data and information for this category in flexible and smooth ways to meet their aspirations and ensure full support is provided to them in coordination with the competent authorities in the emirate. This comes in line with the strategic vision aimed at raising the quality of life of senior citizens. And enhance their happiness in Dubai.
It is noteworthy that the “Barwa” program is in line with the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, which places the family, quality of life, and empowering priority groups at the core of its priorities, in addition to its support for the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda 33, by enhancing digital confidence and expanding the scope of benefit from smart services, which contributes to consolidating Dubai’s position as a global model in providing innovative government services that put people at the heart of the development process.
