The State Public Prosecution holds a Bar Council

Abu Dhabi, June 25 / WAM / The State Public Prosecution held the first Customer Council, “The Bar Council”, under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Attorney General of the Federation.
An elite group of lawyers participated in the council, along with leaders and officials of the Public Prosecution and those concerned with judicial services.
The Council’s convening comes within the framework of the “Customer Councils” initiative launched by the UAE government, with the aim of enhancing customer participation in developing government services, improving the quality of their experience, and consolidating the approach of partnership and continuous development.
The Council witnessed a review of the results of the lawyers’ opinions survey launched by the State Public Prosecution during the last period with the aim of identifying their opinions and aspirations and measuring their level of satisfaction with the services provided. The results showed a positive level of satisfaction. The most prominent challenges, needs and development opportunities related to the judicial and digital services provided to lawyers were also reviewed.
The participants discussed a number of development priorities that would enhance the experience of lawyers and raise the efficiency of services, including enhancing digital transparency and case follow-up, digital empowerment of law offices, cognitive empowerment of lawyers, and continuous improvement of the quality of services, in addition to examining a number of development proposals and initiatives aimed at improving judicial services and procedures and enhancing the efficiency of digital channels.
His Excellency Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi stressed that the State Public Prosecution views lawyers as key partners in achieving justice and consolidating the rule of law, indicating that developing the judicial services system requires strengthening communication channels and constantly listening to the opinions and proposals of the legal community and benefiting from them in designing future services and initiatives.
He said that the Bar Council represents an institutional platform for dialogue and partnership with lawyers, and embodies the State Public Prosecution’s keenness to involve them in continuous development and improvement efforts. We believe that listening to the opinions of partners and clients represents an essential foundation for developing more efficient and quality services, and enhancing the readiness of the justice system for the requirements of the future.
His Excellency added that the council’s outputs and the visions and proposals it contains will contribute to supporting the process of developing judicial and digital services, in line with the UAE government’s directions in innovation, digital transformation, and improving customer experience.
The State Public Prosecution confirmed that the Bar Council represents a sustainable institutional platform for dialogue and consultation with the legal community, which contributes to listening to the opinions and suggestions of lawyers and involving them in developing future services and initiatives, in a way that enhances the efficiency of the justice system and improves the quality of judicial services provided.
The Council concluded by emphasizing the importance of continuing communication and partnership with lawyers, and transforming the Council’s outputs and recommendations into development initiatives and projects that contribute to supporting the process of continuous improvement and enhancing the readiness of judicial services for the requirements of the future.
