His Excellency and members of the delegation held a number of constructive meetings with senior officials in the US Department of Commerce, the US Department of the Treasury, the Office of the US Trade Representative, and the US Department of State.

His Excellency also met with the US G20 Sherpas, stressing the UAE’s commitment, as a guest country, to supporting the priorities of the US presidency of the G20.

The visit came at a time when economic relations between the UAE and the United States continue to achieve qualitative achievements, as the volume of bilateral trade exchange exceeded 40 billion US dollars in 2025, with a growth of 12% compared to the previous year.

The UAE also maintained its position as the largest destination for US exports in the Middle East and North Africa region for the seventeenth year in a row, as US exports to the UAE contributed to supporting about 205,900 jobs in the United States during the year 2025, in the sectors of technology, energy, advanced manufacturing and vital minerals.

The UAE’s commitment to invest $1.4 trillion in the United States over 10 years is one of the basic pillars of this partnership, and is considered one of the largest investment commitments made by a single country in the history of the United States.

Within just the first year of its announcement in March 2025, UAE entities exceeded targets set in the areas of artificial intelligence infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, financial services, and the energy sector.

During the meetings, His Excellency Saeed Al Hajri stressed the UAE’s commitment to continuing to strengthen its strategic partnership with the United States, by enhancing mutual investments, supporting cooperation with the private sector, and expanding bilateral trade horizons.

His Excellency said: As a leading global center for trade and investment, the UAE affirms its firm commitment as a reliable partner, and looks forward to enhancing cooperation with the United States in the areas of financial regulation, innovation, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, energy, and other strategic sectors.

During the meetings, the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues related to combating money laundering and terrorist financing, confronting attempts to circumvent sanctions, and confronting emerging threats related to illicit financing, reflecting the two countries’ shared commitment to enhancing the security of the financial system.

His Excellency said: This visit reflects the depth of the close strategic partnership between our two countries, and our joint commitment to building a more flexible, transparent, and prosperous global financial system. By enhancing coordination and exchanging experiences, we will continue to work together to confront emerging threats associated with illicit financing, and to preserve the integrity of the global financial system.
