Launching a forum "We volunteer for Fujairah"

Fujairah, June 28 / WAM / The Fujairah Cultural Center witnessed the launch of the “We Volunteer for Fujairah” forum under the slogan “The Family is Giving Without Borders”, which is organized by the “Thank You for Your Volunteer Giving” team in cooperation with the Fujairah Cultural Center and the Ministry of Culture, in the presence of Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Rakad Al Ameri, Honorary Chairman of the “Thank You for Your Volunteer Giving” Team, and Her Excellency Aisha Khamis Al Dhanhani, Member of the Federal National Council.

The forum came to confirm the status of volunteer work in Emirati society, as a solid national value and a humanitarian message that reflects the spirit of giving, solidarity and social responsibility, and contributes to building a cohesive society capable of making a positive impact.

The forum witnessed the presence of an elite group of educational, media and community figures, in addition to Emirati families. In its sessions, the role of the family, school and media was discussed in building a conscious generation that possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and believes that community service is a sustainable approach.

Journalist Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Balushi moderated a number of dialogue sessions, with the participation of Her Excellency Aisha Khamis Al-Dhanhani, Member of the Federal National Council, Aisha Ahmed Al-Dhanhani, Dr. Alia Hassan Al-Dhanhani, and Aisha Khamis Al-Dawwar, along with journalist Hamid Al-Yamahi, Shamsa Ahmed Al-Dhanhani, and media personality and writer Sheikha Saeed Al-Mismari.

The sessions discussed the importance of the role of the Emirati family as the first school to instill the values ​​of belonging, loyalty and giving in children, in addition to the role of educational institutions, teachers and the media in promoting the culture of volunteering and turning it into an established community practice.

The dialogues discussed the importance of volunteer initiatives in supporting society and enhancing national identity, and the role of modern media and digital platforms in publishing success stories and highlighting models of community giving.

At the conclusion of the forum, the Emirati volunteer family and an elite group of giving pioneers and volunteers were honored, in appreciation of their efforts and contributions to serving society and promoting the values ​​of humanitarian work.
