The embassy said in a statement via its account on the X platform: "The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia renews its alert to honorable citizens and residents of the increasing fraud attempts carried out by people impersonating embassy employees."
She added: "The embassy confirms that it does not request the transfer of any sums of money or the sharing of personal or financial data via phone calls, text messages, or e-mail. Therefore, it calls on everyone not to respond to such attempts, and to report them through official channels, while being careful to verify the identity of the caller before sharing any information or taking any action.".
