Incredible “remontada”! Belgium trails by two goals against Senegal and comes back with a deadly three goals

The Belgian national team made history in the round of 32 of the World Cup finals when it trailed Senegal by two goals before turning the tables and winning 3-2 after two extra periods at Seattle Stadium in America (regular time ended in a 2-2 draw).

Belgium qualified for the round of 16 after an exciting match in which the Senegalese conceded the result, after the “Lions of Teranga” took the lead through Habib Diarra in the 24th minute, and Ismaila Sarr strengthened the African team’s superiority (51).

But Belgium did not give up, and Romelu Lukaku scored the goal to reduce the difference (86), and Youri Tielemans equalized (89).

In the second extra period, Belgium captain Tielemans scored the winning goal from a penalty kick in the 120th minute.
