"Interior" The third traffic campaign for the year 2026 will be launched under the slogan "A summer without accidents"

Abu Dhabi, 1st July / WAM / The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Federal Traffic Council, launched the third traffic campaign for the year 2026 under the slogan “A Summer Without Accidents”, as part of its continuing efforts to enhance traffic safety and reduce accidents and injuries during the summer season. The campaign continues for three months, targeting all road users and drivers of various types of vehicles.

The launch of the campaign coincides with the start of the summer vacation and travel season, which requires enhancing awareness of the necessary precautions for the safety of vehicles and road users, by ensuring the safety of tires, performing periodic maintenance, and adhering to the permissible load limits on the roof of the vehicle, which do not exceed a height of (60) centimetres, in addition to ensuring the validity of the lighting systems and directional change signals, and not leaving any flammable materials inside the vehicles.

The campaign focuses on raising the level of compliance with traffic laws, adhering to specified speeds and leaving a sufficient safety distance between vehicles, in addition to raising awareness of the dangers of leaving children inside vehicles, which enhances the culture of safe driving and contributes to reducing traffic accidents during the summer season.

The campaign will be implemented in cooperation with the police general commands, strategic partners and authorities concerned with traffic safety in the country, through various social media platforms in Arabic, English and Urdu, to ensure that awareness messages reach the largest segment of society, in a way that enhances the culture of safe driving and contributes to achieving traffic safety goals at the state level.
