Fujairah Municipality showcases its smart solutions in… "GITEX Artificial Intelligence – Europe"
Berlin, 3 July / WAM / During its participation in the “GITEX Artificial Intelligence – Europe 2026” exhibition, which was hosted by the German capital Berlin during the period from June 30 to July 1 at the Berlin Messe Center, the Fujairah Municipality reviewed its pioneering experience in employing artificial intelligence technologies to support the government work system, in line with the UAE’s trends towards building a smart and sustainable digital government.
During its participation, the municipality highlighted the “Al-Marsad AI” project, which represents an advanced smart government platform that was developed and operated entirely on local infrastructure, and relies on sovereign artificial intelligence techniques, predictive analytics, and interpretable artificial intelligence, enabling decision makers to access real-time insights, anticipate future scenarios, and support decision-making efficiently and quickly through the comprehensive smart assistant.
It also reviewed the “Workspace Hub AI” project, which is an integrated institutional platform based on open source linguistic models, and provides a system of smart assistants specialized in the fields of planning, legal review, technical support, programming, training, idea evaluation, and content creation, which contributes to raising the efficiency of institutional performance, enhancing productivity, and enabling employees to make more accurate and rapid decisions.
His Excellency the Deputy Director General of Fujairah Municipality stressed that participation in the exhibition reflects the municipality’s vision of consolidating its position among the leading government agencies in adopting future technologies, and enhancing its presence in global platforms that bring together elite experts, innovators and decision-makers in the field of artificial intelligence.
He said that participation in this global event comes out of the belief that artificial intelligence has become an essential pillar in developing government work and improving the quality of services, expressing his pride in showcasing innovative national projects developed according to the highest technical standards, which reflects the Fujairah Municipality’s directions towards building a more efficient, sustainable and proactive government system, capable of employing modern technologies in decision support and improving customer experience.
He added that participation was an opportunity to enhance international cooperation, exchange experiences, and learn about best global practices, in a way that supports the digital transformation process and keeps pace with the vision of our wise leadership towards a more innovative and prosperous future.
