The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior witnesses the graduation of the comprehensive special operations course

ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the Comprehensive Special Operations Course (30), which was held at the combat training village of the Special Security Forces Command in Saih Al Mahhab, in the presence of Major General Saeed Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director of the Special Tasks Sector at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Mansouri, Commander of the Special Security Forces, and a number of senior officers and representatives of the General Police Commands in the country.
His Excellency stressed that the Ministry of Interior continues to implement its strategic vision of building an advanced security system based on investing in national competencies, enhancing operational readiness, and developing specialized capabilities in accordance with international best practices, ensuring the readiness of the security services to deal with emerging changes and risks efficiently and professionally, and contributing to supporting the state’s goals of security leadership and the sustainability of security and safety.
He added that building qualified people remains the basic foundation for developing the security system, and that investing in qualitative training, modern technologies, and sustainable readiness represents a strategic priority for the Ministry, which enhances its ability to anticipate future challenges, protect society, and consolidate the UAE’s position among the most secure and prepared countries in the world.
The course witnessed the graduation of 62 members from various general police commands, after they completed an advanced training program implemented by the Special Security Forces Institute, within an integrated training system aimed at preparing security cadres capable of carrying out specialized tasks, enhancing operational integration between security units, and raising the efficiency of response in various security circumstances and scenarios.
This course comes within the continuous development system pursued by the Ministry of Interior to establish a culture of excellence, readiness, and readiness for the future, by adopting the latest training concepts, benefiting from modern technologies, and enhancing integration between various police agencies, in a way that supports the UAE’s position as a global model for security and stability.
The training program included a package of advanced operational applications, including special operations in urban environments, raiding multi-storey buildings, arrest and inspection, managing security cordons, disembarking from helicopters, dealing with ambushes, immediate security response, confronting riots, maintaining order, tactical shooting, and implementing field scenarios that simulate contemporary security challenges, which contributes to developing the speed of decision-making, raising the level of coordination, and enhancing the operational efficiency of the members.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior honored the first members of the course, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made in preparing and qualifying the members, stressing that the knowledge and skills they have acquired constitute an important foundation for enhancing the efficiency of the security system, consolidating the security of society, and preserving the nation’s gains, in fulfillment of the directives of the wise leadership and its vision towards a safer and more pioneering future.
