Sharjah, 7 July / WAM / The “Emirates Balloon” team, represented by the “UAE ONE” balloon, is participating in the 39th Pacific Ocean Balloon Cup and Festival (SIBFO), which will be held during the period from October 30 to November 3 in the Japanese city of Saga.
Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansouri, President of the Emirates Hot Air Balloon, said that participation in the festival came in response to the invitation of the organizer of the event, which is considered one of the most important and largest international festivals, and is the only Arab participation in this event. He thanked all the heads and members of the organizing committee of the “SIBFO” festival for inviting the “UAE ONE” hot air balloon to participate alongside only five international teams from outside Japan, given the high experience and skills that the Emirates Hot Air Balloon has recorded over 22 years full of achievements.
He explained that the first international participation of the “UAE ONE” balloon will be launched from Japan during participation in the largest gathering of its kind in the world hosted by the Japanese city of Saga, which is held annually to promote culture and the love of freedom and peace, and during which schools and selected personalities who have achieved distinguished cultural achievements at the level of all Japanese cities will be honored.
