المملكة: With an innovative robotic submarine… students at King Abdulaziz VII University worldwide

Team achieved "Red Sea Rovers" Pioneers of the Red Sea, from King Abdulaziz University, ranked seventh globally in the finals of the World Underwater Robotics Championship "MATE ROV"within a category "PIONEER"
The team scored 374.67 points in the official results of the tournament, which was hosted by the University of "Memorial"in Canada, with the participation of 35 universities around the world.
The team succeeded in developing Robotic submarine "ROV" It was advanced and designed according to an integrated engineering vision, to be a platform capable of carrying out diving operations and performing multiple tasks in complex water environments and difficult operational conditions.
The submarine relied on precise integration between control and sensing systems and implementation tools, which ensured it high stability and superior maneuverability while carrying out underwater exploratory and engineering tasks.
Work on designing the project took two years, through "Manufacturing Club" The Deanship of Student Affairs, which works at the university level to serve students from various specializations.
