المملكة: 3420 certificates of compliance for buildings… and Al-Sharqiya aims to fence 962 vacant plots of land
The Secretary of the Eastern Region, Engineer Fahd Al-Jubeir, discussed plans to improve The urban landscape in the region, reviewing the issuance of 3,420 compliance certificates for buildings, and fencing targets for 962 vacant lands.
This came during an expanded meeting in the presence of secretariat secretaries, mayors, and department directors to follow up on development initiatives.
Engineer Al-Jubeir stressed the importance of intensifying field efforts to raise the level of compliance and achieve quality of life goals. Stressing the need to enhance proactive monitoring and take advantage of Building Compliance Certificate 74.95 percent until July 7, 2026.
He also reviewed plans to address visual distortions by intensifying field tours and using modern technologies and the “My Lens” platform to speed up the response.
The meeting discussed developments in the initiative to fence off empty lands to reduce field observations and improve the public landscape. The attendees touched on the implementation of the “Saudi Architecture” initiative by reviewing the designs for electricity transformers and public restrooms to be consistent with the approved urban identity.
The attendees followed up on the performance of the partner agencies in handling complaints, stressing the importance of joint coordination to raise the efficiency of achievement.
In a related context, the Eastern Province Secretariat is preparing to implement the afforestation season through early preparation and allocation of trees to the governorates, with the aim of raising vegetation cover and improving the urban environment.
