Nahyan bin Mubarak visits Salem Al Shuaibi Gold and Jewelery Factory in Kizad, Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, 9 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, visited the Salem Al Shuaibi Gold and Jewelery Factory in Kizad, Abu Dhabi, where he toured a comprehensive field tour of the various facilities of the factory, during which he was briefed on the production lines, techniques for designing, manufacturing and crafting gold and jewellery, and the smart operating mechanisms adopted in the various stages of production, and listened to a detailed explanation about the work system and modern operational systems.
This comes within the framework of His Excellency’s interest in supporting the industrial sector, encouraging advanced industries, and promoting national projects that contribute to consolidating the UAE’s position as a global center for industry and innovation.
He was received by His Excellency Mr. Salem Al-Shuaibi, founder of the Salem Al-Shuaibi Jewelery Group, along with a number of the group’s executive and administrative leaders, who accompanied him on an extensive tour that included production lines, jewelry design and development units, manufacturing and finishing departments, quality inspection laboratories, research and development facilities, and innovation centers, in addition to the smart systems used in managing production processes, which adopt the best international practices in the gold and jewelry industry sector.
His Excellency listened to a comprehensive explanation about the work system within the factory, the manufacturing and production mechanisms, and the techniques used in the various stages of the gold and jewelry industry, starting from design and innovation, through the manufacturing and fine drafting processes, and ending with inspection and quality assurance. He also reviewed the strategic vision of the factory, and its future plans aimed at contributing to the development of the gold and jewelry industry in the UAE, and enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati products in regional and global markets.
The establishment of the Salem Al-Shuaibi Gold and Jewelry Factory comes within the framework of the Salem Al-Shuaibi Jewelery Group’s direction towards enhancing investment in value-added manufacturing industries, by employing the latest global technologies in gold and jewelry manufacturing, which contributes to supporting the goals of the national strategy for advanced industry and technology, and consolidating the UAE’s position as a global center for the manufacture and trade of gold and jewelry.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan praised the advanced level of technology and human and operational capabilities he witnessed, stressing that the industrial project represents a pioneering model for Emirati industrial projects that combine quality, innovation and future vision, and reflects the development and leadership that the industrial sector has reached in the country.

His Excellency stressed that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, continues to consolidate its position as a global center for business, industry, trade and investment, based on an ambitious development vision that makes innovation, economic diversification, empowering the private sector, and supporting advanced industries essential pillars of the comprehensive development process.
