In reference to what was circulated on social media platforms regarding the project to develop Al-Ardha view, the Jazan Region Municipality clarifies that the images circulated reflect a stage of The stages of the project before its completion, and do not represent its final form. The implementation work is still ongoing, as the project is being built on a total area of ​​288 thousand square meters, of which only 61 thousand square meters have been allocated for development, representing about 21% of the total area of ​​the site, while 227 thousand square meters (1681) will remain as natural mountain views, in order to preserve the environmental character and natural terrain of the site.

Improving the visitors’ experience

The project aims to develop the view in a way that enhances the visitors’ experience by providing Facilities and services, walkways, seating areas, and comfort elements, while preserving the natural identity of the site, as the final phase of the project includes implementing landscaping and green landscaping works and completing the aesthetic elements, which are works carried out after the completion of construction work.

Developing the mountain views in Jazan

The project comes within a package of development projects Mountain overlooks in the Jazan region, the most prominent of which are the Jabal al-Aswad overlook in the Reith Governorate and the Jarat al-Qasr overlook in the Fayfa Governorate, which were recently completed.
Work is also underway to develop the Al-Arda view in the Al-Arda governorate, the Sammad view in the Al-Abdani governorate, the Al-Bin view in Al-Dayer governorate, and Al-Raheen view in Harub governorate, all of which are subject to review according to the standards approved by the Ministry’s urban studio and the region’s secretariat, in order to achieve a balance between developing Public facilities and preserving the natural features of the sites, in order to achieve the goals of enhancing the quality of life and improving the experience.
