New toll: 4,490 dead and 16,740 injured as a result of the two earthquakes in Venezuela.
The number of that struck Two weeks ago, about 4,500 people were killed, according to a new official toll announced by , Sunday.
The government stated, in a post on its official channel on the “Telegram” application, that the death toll reached 4,490 people.

While 16,740 others were injured as a result of the two earthquakes that occurred last June 24.
It added that more than 19,000 were injured. 500 affected people are still residing in shelter camps, as efforts continue to deal with the repercussions of the disaster and provide support to those affected.
