Kuwait announces that it has confronted hostile air targets within its airspace

The Kuwaiti Chief of Staff announced this morning that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are confronting hostile air targets within Kuwaiti airspace.

She noted, in a press statement, reported by KUNA, that the sounds of explosions, if heard, are the result of air defense systems intercepting enemy attacks. Calling on everyone to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA): “The armed forces are currently confronting hostile air targets within Kuwaiti airspace.”
