An upcoming speech by Trump after his decisions regarding the Strait of Hormuz and Iran
US President Donald announced that he will deliver a televised address to the nation on Thursday evening, at a time of crisis with An accelerating escalation.
Trump said, in a post on the platform "Truth Social"He will deliver the speech at nine o’clock in the evening, East Coast time in the United States, without revealing its content, while No additional details about it.
Strait of Hormuz
The announcement comes hours after Trump revealed his intention to impose 20% tariffs on goods transported by sea through the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to re-imposing a US naval blockade on Iran as of Tuesday, in a move that increases tensions between the two countries.
This speech is Trump’s first televised speech to the nation since April 1, when he defended the White House from the White House. The US military campaign against Iran, which then caused oil prices to rise and tensions in the Middle East to rise.
