"Cairo Monodrama Festival" Honors the Dibba Society for Culture, Arts and Theater

Cairo, July 14 / WAM / The Cairo International Monodrama Festival, in its ninth session, honored the Dibba Society for Culture, Arts and Theater, in appreciation of its role in supporting the cultural and artistic movement and its contributions to developing theatre, nurturing talent and enhancing the creative presence on the Arab scene.
The shield of honor was received by the writer Hamad Al-Dhanhani, Secretary of the Association, the artist Khalifa Al-Takhloufa, Ibrahim Al-Qahomi, director of the Dibba Al-Fujairah Theater, and Ibrahim Al-Shamsi, head of the Media Committee, during the opening ceremony of the festival, which was held on the stage of the Egyptian Opera House, in the presence of an elite group of artists and playwrights from various Arab and foreign countries.
The ninth session of the Cairo International Monodrama Festival was launched under the slogan “From Cairo… creativity begins,” and its activities will continue until July 17, with the wide participation of Arab and international groups and artists, and includes theatrical performances, specialized workshops, and intellectual seminars, thus enhancing the festival’s position as one of the most prominent theatrical events specialized in the art of monodrama.
This honor comes as an affirmation of the position enjoyed by the Dibba Society for Culture, Arts and Theater in the Arab cultural and theatrical scene, and the culmination of its journey in presenting theatrical and cultural initiatives and works that contributed to enhancing the presence of Emirati theater in regional and international forums, and consolidating the position of Emirati creativity on the Arab cultural scene.
