ABU DHABI, 14 JULY / WAM / The real estate development company “Aldar” signed a strategic partnership agreement with the “PureHealth” group to design and build communities based on promoting wellness and long, healthy living in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, by employing the latest technologies and the foundations of health and wellness in aspects of daily life, in a way that supports the UAE’s efforts to consolidate its position as a global center for healthy and long living.
The two sides cooperate, according to the agreement. To explore innovative solutions to integrate the concepts of wellness and preventive care into the fabric of communities, starting from the design of homes and neighborhoods, all the way to daily experiences that promote long-term wellness, benefiting from the clinical expertise of the “PureHealth” group and “Aldar’s” data-driven approach to developing communities, with the aim of transforming long-term health sciences into practical solutions that are widely applicable, which contributes to improving the quality of life and building healthier and more interconnected communities.
The partnership provides opportunities for joint research, knowledge exchange, and impact measurement, which enhances the two institutions’ commitment to innovation, decision-making based on scientific evidence, and supporting the long-term wellness of communities. The two entities will also study launching pilot initiatives in a number of selected communities and assets, to develop future models that harmonize health care, technology, and the built environment.
Rashid Al Qubaisi, Chief Operating Officer of the “PureHealth” Group, said that the strategic partnership with “Aldar” represents a vital achievement that supports the group’s efforts to integrate health principles into aspects of daily life, explaining that the “Purea Clinic” of the group contributes to establishing living environments that enable community members to manage their health efficiently, through advanced systems for managing air quality, smart beds, and smart mirrors that provide real-time health information without contact, stressing that this cooperation embodies the role of innovation and integration between sectors in supporting national goals. Aiming to promote health and enable community members to enjoy a long, healthy life.
For his part, Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development Company, said that the partnership with “PureHealth” reflects the shared belief that wellness should be an essential part of the places where people live.
