"Trends" Participates in the Hong Kong International Book Fair

HONG KONG, 15 JULY / WAM / The Trends Group is participating for the first time in the 36th Hong Kong International Book Fair 2026, which kicked off today and continues until 21 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC).

This participation is led by the group’s “Trends Research and Consulting”, through its virtual office in China. The pavilion includes about 500 titles of specialized scientific and research publications, covering a wide spectrum of political, economic, strategic, technological, social, and cultural issues, in addition to the research encyclopedia on the Muslim Brotherhood. A number of its books have been translated into 16 international languages, and it is considered one of the group’s most prominent knowledge projects.

In conjunction with the exhibition activities, Trends Research and Consulting is launching a new book entitled “Labor Markets in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” while the group’s “Trends Global” sector, in cooperation with the Trends Youth Council, is organizing a special symposium entitled: “Exploring the role of youth in protecting cultural heritage and re-presenting it in the digital age.”

The Trends agenda during the exhibition days includes a program full of events, official meetings and strategic agreements, the most prominent of which is the signing of a distribution agreement with the Chinese company (CPS), in addition to a dialogue session with the Center on Contemporary China and the World, affiliated with the University of Hong Kong, to discuss prospects for cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of research and knowledge.

Participation includes a series of official meetings and gatherings with officials, research and academic institutions, and Chinese and international publishing houses, which contributes to consolidating the position of “Trends” as an independent research reference, and enhancing its cognitive role on the global stage.

Rawda Al Marzouqi, Head of the Distribution and Publishing Sector at Trends, confirmed on this occasion that the group’s participation in the Hong Kong International Book Fair, for the first time through its regional office in China, represents a strategic and pivotal step in its global expansion process.

She explained that the aim of the participation is to build bridges of knowledge communication between the East and the West, and to create a sustainable knowledge impact that serves the scientific research communities.

For his part, Hazza Saif Al Hammadi, Director of Exhibitions Department at Trends, said that the Hong Kong International Book Fair constitutes a strategic platform for effective communication with Asian and international publishing houses, cultural and research institutions, which opens new and fruitful horizons for joint cooperation and knowledge exchange.

For his part, Zayed Khaled Al Dhaheri, Director of Distribution Department at Trends, explained that participation in this cultural forum translates Trends’ vision to expand the spread of its publications scientifically and geographically, explaining that the strategic agreements that will be concluded during the exhibition days will contribute significantly to delivering the group’s intellectual production to wider segments of readers and researchers, especially in the promising Chinese and Asian markets.
