المملكة: “Moan” monitors 7,480 violations of waste sector control and environmental protection in the Kingdom

Monitor The National Center for Waste Management “Mowan” received 7,480 notices and violations during the first half of 2026, as part of its monitoring tours in the regions of the Kingdom, to control irregular practices and raise efficiency Waste Management Sector.
The center explained that this oversight outcome aims to correct field violations and address them directly, stressing that raising the level of facilities’ compliance with regulations contributes effectively to reducing negative environmental impacts.
Comprehensive oversight
Moan stated that its field teams continue to implement their comprehensive oversight plans to arrest violators and take legal measures against them. Pointing out that we are working in parallel to direct establishments towards applying the best professional practices in Waste disposal.
The center pointed out that efforts to regulate and supervise the sector support the goals of environmental sustainability, and preserve natural resources and public health.
These regulatory movements come in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to build a circular economy that enhances the quality of life.
