Disagreements in the Ukrainian army topple the Minister of Defense… and Zelensky calls for unity

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, today, Thursday, to unity within the army command, amid criticism directed at him against the backdrop of the resignation of the Minister of Defense, known for his popularity, following disagreements with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Speaking about the dispute between the dismissed Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov, and the Army Commander, Oleksandr Sirsky, Zelensky said: "Frankly, a president whose country is at war should not have to make a choice under similar circumstances"adding: "I desperately want to achieve unity".
