Humaid bin Ammar chairs the meeting of the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Program and reviews the map of the first phase

Ajman, July 17 / WAM / Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Executive Council, Leader of the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Programme, chaired the second meeting of the programme, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary General of the Ajman Executive Council.

Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi reviewed the roadmap for the first phase, which includes completing institutional construction, launching the first initiatives, and following up on their implementation according to clear performance indicators, which contributes to accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence solutions in various government sectors.

Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed that the program aims to employ artificial intelligence to enhance the efficiency of government performance and improve the quality of services, through a unified framework that supports the integration of efforts between government agencies, and establishes best practices in adopting modern technologies in order to achieve added value to society.

He said that the program is based on the main principles of people first, governance before expansion, and directing initiatives towards priorities that have the greatest impact on society, ensuring the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence technologies.

Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi also reviewed the institutional model of the program, which is based on an integrated system of empowerment and governance, which contributes to supporting government agencies, enhancing implementation efficiency, and consolidating the principles of transparency and accountability in artificial intelligence applications.

The meeting discussed the program’s work methodology, which relies on identifying government priorities and developing initiatives according to clear standards of governance and risk management, ensuring their readiness for implementation and achieving a tangible and sustainable impact.

The Ajman Artificial Intelligence Program aims to launch 100 initiatives covering the eight axes of the Ajman 2030 vision, “Ajman for the People,” in a way that enhances the readiness of the future government, raises the quality of life, and supports the emirate’s competitiveness and the sustainability of the development of its services.
