"Border ports affairs in Sharjah"Union Covenant Day confirms our permanent commitment to continued development and giving

Sharjah, July 17, 2017 – His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs at the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, confirmed that the “Covenant of Union” is being renewed among the people of the Emirates by commemorating the day that witnessed the birth of the “Document of Union” at the hands of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul.” It was the beginning of a success story whose chapters are still written in letters of pride and glory.

He added that anyone who contemplates the UAE’s journey since that historic day realizes how the will of the founding leader turned into an established approach, and the wise leadership continues to build on it with renewed strategic awareness until, thanks to him, the UAE has become a global model in comprehensive development, cultural excellence, and in shaping the future with ability and stability.

He said that this precious national occasion inspires pride and pride in the exceptional achievements achieved in various fields and urges us all to raise the ceiling of our ambitions in a way that ensures the continuation of the process of giving and renewing the pledge that the Union’s banner will remain flying high through our continuous efforts and sincere work.
