Abu Dhabi Police attracts national talents at the National Employment Service Exhibition in Dubai
ABU DHABI, 18th July, 2017 (WAM) – The Abu Dhabi Police General Command, represented by the Selection and Appointment Department, concluded its participation in the activities of the National Service Recruitment Fair, which was held from July 15 to 17, at Expo City Dubai, as part of its efforts to attract national competencies, and introduce National Service graduates and recruits to the career and specialized opportunities available in various police, administrative, and technical fields.
Brigadier Ali Mohammed Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Sector, confirmed that Abu Dhabi Police’s participation in the exhibition reflects its interest in enhancing investment in national human capital, supporting Emiratisation goals, and attracting qualified competencies capable of contributing to the development of the police and security work system, in line with its vision of building national cadres who possess the necessary skills and experience to keep pace with the requirements of the future.
Colonel Mohammed Jaber Al Khaili, Deputy Director of the Selection and Appointment Department, explained that the Abu Dhabi Police Wing reviewed the conditions and mechanisms for applying for jobs and the available professional and specialized paths, in addition to introducing visitors to the development and qualification programs that the General Command provides to its members, and answering the inquiries of job seekers, which contributes to enhancing their awareness of the available career opportunities and the police work environment.
The pavilion witnessed the participation of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, the Police Rehabilitation Department, the Safe City Administration, and the Virtual Training Centre, where the participating entities presented their most prominent services and training and awareness initiatives, and reviewed the modern smart technologies and systems used to support the security system, reflecting the efforts of Abu Dhabi Police in developing police work and improving the quality of services provided to the community.
