Active participation for "Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government " Initiated by “Dubai Mallathon”

Dubai, July 20 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, participated in the “Dubai Mulathon” initiative, which was held in the Dubai Hills area, in confirmation of its commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance the quality of life and consolidate community cohesion, in line with the vision of Dubai and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, aimed at spreading a culture of physical activity and building a healthier and more sustainable society.

The college’s participation comes within the framework of its strategy aimed at expanding its societal impact and enhancing the participation of its students and graduates in national initiatives, which embodies its role as an active partner in supporting development priorities in addition to its mission to prepare government leaders.

His Excellency Major General Khalifa Rashid Al Hameli, Director of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Defense, confirmed that the Ministry of Defense’s sponsorship of the initiative reflects its keenness to establish a culture of physical activity and enhance community cohesion, pointing out that the “Dubai Mallathon” represents a successful model of partnership between national institutions in supporting healthy lifestyles and achieving the goals of “We are the Emirates 2031” and Dubai’s vision to improve the quality of life.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government, said that participation reflects the college’s belief that preparing government leaders is linked to effective contribution to societal initiatives that place people at the heart of development, stressing the continued use of academic expertise and institutional partnerships to support initiatives with a sustainable impact.

The event witnessed the participation of a number of government agencies, including the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, and the Community Development Authority in Dubai, in addition to the presence of a number of senior officials who participated in honoring senior citizens, orphans, volunteers, and employees of the “Aounak” Center, in a scene that reflected the values ​​of giving and community solidarity.

The event recorded wide community participation on the walking and running track in Dubai Hills, which contributed to establishing a culture of physical activity, enhancing physical and mental health, and strengthening family and community ties, in support of Dubai’s goals of building a more cohesive society and a better quality of life.
