"Redington" It handles the distribution of the platform "On demand" The UAE subsidiary of AIREV in the Middle East and Africa
ABU DHABI, 22nd July, 2017 (WAM) – AIREV, which is based in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi and developer of the independent artificial intelligence platform “OnDemand”, announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Redington Gulf, under which Redington will be appointed an authorized distributor for the platform in the Arab Gulf countries, in addition to all African markets.
Redington is one of the largest technology distribution companies in the world, with its combined revenues amounting to about $13.5 billion during the fiscal year 2026, while its operations in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa achieved revenues amounting to $5.7 billion during the past year.
Through this partnership, which was developed in cooperation with Intel, an integrated architecture that includes advanced computing hardware optimized for artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence software ready to comply with the requirements of digital sovereignty, along with one of the most established distribution networks in the region, is integrated into a unified channel to serve enterprise customers.
Under the agreement, Redington will market, sell and distribute OnDemand Enterprise across three different operating models including standalone software, self-hosting, and cloud hosting, along with implementation and integration services, custom intelligent agent development, and multi-level technical support through partner channels.
His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIREV, said that the UAE’s ambition is not limited to developing advanced technologies and platforms locally, but extends to employing them with our most important trade and investment partners around the world, especially in the Middle East and the African continent.
He explained that this agreement represents a practical step in this direction, as the Redington network for artificial intelligence developed in the UAE provides a global distribution structure that is only available to a very limited number of software companies around the world, which allows AIREV to expand efficiently and sustainably into new markets.
The agreement was concluded in cooperation with Intel, which has an existing partnership with AIREV in the field of improving the performance of artificial intelligence software, in addition to its long relationship with Redington within the global distribution channel system.
Through the agreement, AIREV will train and certify Redington’s channel partners, as well as provide joint market development programs and mechanisms to protect registered business opportunities, with the aim of accelerating the adoption of enterprise-level AI solutions across the region.
The partnership also opens the door to deploying AI solutions directly on devices without the need to connect to the cloud.
It has been optimized to run efficiently on Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors, allowing AI agents to run locally on users’ devices, enhancing performance and responsiveness and maintaining data privacy.
This technology infrastructure is of particular importance to government agencies, regulated sectors, and organizations operating in markets that impose stringent data sovereignty and protection requirements, a segment that represents a large portion of Redington’s current customer base.
For his part, Mohamed Khaled, founder and CEO of AIREV, said that Redington gives us the ability to reach a wide range of markets and customers, while Intel has brought us together within an integrated system that combines electronic chips, software, and a distribution channel that serves various markets, from the Gulf region to the entire African continent.
