Signed The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United States of America Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz The Minister of Energy and his American counterpart, to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and to support the exchange of experiences, knowledge and technologies, in a way that contributes to the development of joint cooperation in accordance with the highest international standards related to nuclear security and safety and nuclear non-proliferation.
It also reflects the common vision of the two countries towards expanding cooperation in the fields of energy and future technologies and supporting sustainable development.
Diversifying energy sources
The agreement represents an extension of the existing cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, and in support of efforts aimed at diversifying energy sources. Energy, developing advanced technologies, and enhancing cooperation and investment opportunities to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries.
