Operation Chivalrous Knight "3" 600 children who have memorized the Holy Qur’an in the Gaza Strip are honored

GAZA, July 23, 2017 – Operation Gallant Knight (3) organized a ceremony honoring 600 children who had memorized the Holy Qur’an in the Gaza Strip, to celebrate their efforts in memorizing the Book of God and to encourage them to continue their scientific and religious journey, as part of its humanitarian and community programs aimed at supporting children and promoting positive values, in light of the exceptional circumstances that the Strip is experiencing.

Thousands of people and a number of Qur’anic and community institutions participated in the ceremony, including the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Iqra Association, the House of the Holy Qur’an, the House of Perfection, the Young Muslim Women’s Association, Al-Safa Academy, and the Companions Association.

The ceremony included a number of segments, including fragrant recitations from the Holy Qur’an, and segments of Prophetic praise, in addition to honoring distinguished children and memorizers of the Holy Qur’an, amid an atmosphere dominated by feelings of joy and pride in the children’s achievements that reflect their will and adherence to their values.

The ceremony concluded by offering gifts and financial grants to the honored children, provided by the United Arab Emirates, with the aim of bringing joy to their hearts and motivating them to continue their journey in memorizing the Book of God, as part of the efforts of Operation Gallant Knight (3) to support initiatives that enhance hope and care for the emerging generations in the Gaza Strip.
