This network comes within the Authority’s efforts to facilitate visitors’ and tourists’ access to the dense forests, natural landmarks, and heritage villages that the region abounds in, allowing them to explore its natural beauty and history. Al-Ariq.
Two main diverse routes
The authority indicated that travelers by land from the city of Riyadh to the Al-Baha region are provided with two main diverse routes, which differ in the length of the distance, the duration of the trip, and the stations they pass through, in the context of facilitating the movement of road users and providing multiple options for reaching Al-Baha.
The first route, which is the fastest, is to start from Riyadh, passing through Bisha and reach Al-Baha, and its length is about 877 kilometers, and the trip takes about 9 hours.
As for the second route, it passes through Taif Governorate, and its length is about 1,010 kilometers, and the trip takes about 10 hours.
Unique geographical and environmental diversity
The Al-Bahah region, located in the southwest of the Kingdom, is characterized by unique geographical and environmental diversity, as it combines the highlands of the towering Sarawat Mountains and the low plains of Tihama.
