The UAE Tennis and Padel Federation approves the formation of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship

Dubai, 24 July / WAM / The Emirates Tennis and Padel Federation approved the formation of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship, headed by Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, as part of the efforts aimed at enhancing the status of the tournament and consolidating its leadership as one of the most prominent international tournaments on the tennis agenda, through a board of directors that includes an elite group of national leaders and specialized expertise in the fields of sports, management, events, economics, and innovation.

The Council’s membership includes Mohammed Al-Sharhan, Ismail Al-Hashemi, Ahmed Al-Khaja, Fatima Bujasim, Amal Bin Shabib, Hassan Al-Mazrouei, and Ramesh Sidambi.

The adoption of the formation comes within the framework of continuing to develop the tournament and strengthen its governance, in line with its international standing, and contributes to consolidating Dubai’s leadership as a global destination for organizing the largest sporting events, by employing the diverse expertise of the council members, and supporting the tournament’s journey towards achieving more successes at the organizational and technical levels.
