The National Unified Admission Platform closes « Admissions procedures for the new academic year, after its launch on the twenty-second of this July, with the aim of making vacant academic seats available to male and female secondary school graduates in public and private universities and technical and vocational training colleges.

The “Acceptance” platform explained that nomination in the additional opportunities stage takes place automatically when an academic seat is available that matches the applicant’s previously registered desires, and based on the vacancies available in the participating educational institutions.

It indicated that the applicant receives immediate notification upon his nomination via email. Email and text messages, including details of the new opportunity, allowing him to make the decision within the specified period.

The platform confirmed that the period for confirming acceptance in the additional opportunities stage was set at only 24 hours, starting from the moment the notification reaches the applicant, stressing that failure to confirm acceptance during this period is considered an automatic rejection of the available opportunity.

Qabool warned applicants against exceeding the specified time limit, given the system’s reliance on the speed of investing and re-offering vacant seats. For deserving applicants according to the order of desires and available vacancies.

The platform indicated that the applicant’s acceptance or rejection of the promotion opportunity does not disqualify him from being eligible to benefit from other promotion opportunities during this stage, as he remains eligible for any future opportunities until the end of the deadline specified for showing the additional opportunities.

It added that the system continues to update the additional opportunities every 24 hours, allowing the continuous redistribution of vacant seats according to registered desires and the availability of seats in public and private universities and technical training colleges.

The closing of the stage on the second of August is the end of the period for displaying the remaining opportunities for admission, which makes the speed of following up on electronic notifications and text messages and confirming the nomination within the specified deadline an essential factor for taking advantage of the available seats before the end of the admission procedures for the new academic year.
