Al-Ahly sets a date to travel to South Africa to face Orlando

Al-Ahly club’s first football team is preparing to host its South African counterpart, Orlando Pirates, in the midst of the African Champions League competitions. The match scheduled to be held within the second round of the group stage of the continental championship.
This afternoon, the team’s delegation will leave Cairo Airport heading to South Africa, in preparation for facing Orlando. The delegation is also headed by Hossam Ghaly, a member of the Board of Directors. The team will conduct its final training session this morning at the Touch Stadium, after which coach Marcel Koller will choose the list of players who will travel to South Africa. Al-Ahly won at Abidjan Stadium, 4-2, in the first round of the group stage of the African Championship, which was held in Cairo.
