Ready to give everything… and my goal is to lead Sharjah to victories

Sharjah’s new player, Congolese Charles Bekele, expressed his happiness at joining the “King”, in his first statement since his move to the team from Espanyol, Spain, with a contract extending for two seasons.
In statements to the official website of the Sharjah Club, Bekel stressed that he will do his utmost to help the team achieve victories, noting that his participation with the Democratic Republic of the Congo national team in the 2026 World Cup represented a distinguished experience in his career.
He said: “I am really happy to be at Sharjah Club, and I look forward to giving everything I have for the team and achieving the best results.”
He added that the team is continuing its preparations well during the external camp currently being held in Slovenia, confirming its full readiness for the new season after undergoing extensive training with the team.
He continued: “I am in my best physical condition, and the preparation period is going well, and the friendly matches help the team reach the highest levels of readiness before the start of the season.”
Sharjah is counting on Bekel, who participated with his country’s national team in the 2026 World Cup, to strengthen its midfield during the new season, as the team seeks to compete in local and continental championships.
