The director of Al-Azhar Mosque stresses the importance of intermediate education during the regular meeting with the directors of the departments of the Al-Azhar corridors
As part of Al-Azhar’s continuous endeavor to enhance middle education, the Director of Al-Azhar Mosque held a regular meeting with the directors of the departments of the Al-Azhar corridors in the governorates, where a number of important issues related to the development of the educational process in the corridors were discussed.
In At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of Al-Azhar Mosque conveyed to the Directors the greetings of His Eminence Mawlana the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and His Eminence Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, as well as He thanked and appreciated the directors of the sub-departments of the Al-Azhari Corridor for the efforts made in facilitating the study and education process, and stressed the importance of identifying the negatives that were monitored during the periodic follow-ups, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Al-Ghannam, Head of the Central Administration for Financial Affairs, and directors of departments at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, reviewed a set of opinions and proposals presented by the directors to develop the Al-Azhar corridor experience and improve the quality of education.
The director of Al-Azhar Mosque stressed the need to pay attention to studying in the Sharia and Arabic Sciences Corridor. , especially in light of the modern trends towards distance education. He also highlighted the importance of memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the mechanism of memorization, stressing the necessity of developing the level of memorizers and workers in The Al-Azhar corridor to ensure the provision of distinguished education.
The director of Al-Azhar Mosque also indicated the follow-up of the corridors of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decoration in the governorates that were recently opened, stressing the importance of these corridors as part of the cultural and religious identity of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. External forums were also discussed. Which targets children, youth, and the Egyptian family, and focuses on contemporary issues, with the aim of graduating a generation that is aware and knowledgeable about matters of their religion.
Dr. stressed. Abdel Moneim Fouad, General Supervisor of Scientific Activities of the Al-Azhar Corridor, during a telephone conversation stressed the importance of direct communication with scholars and faculty members, pointing out the importance of cooperation and teamwork in order to develop the Al-Azhar Corridors and achieve the mission of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in spreading science and Islamic values, as His Eminence pointed out: The importance of activating technical reports and continuous follow-ups on the progress of the educational process in the Holy Quran sessions, especially the mastery program in intonation and recitations, stressing the necessity of submitting these reports periodically to the general administration of the mosque. Al-Azhar to identify the negatives and deal with them immediately.
For their part, the directors of the departments expressed their happiness in joining this lofty edifice, stressing that they will spare no effort to advance the Al-Azhar Gallery, spread its message, and achieve its desired goals everywhere.
