المملكة: Riyadh Metro fully restores service on the blue route

The Riyadh Metro administration announced the full return of service on the blue track, after repairing the fault that caused a partial suspension of traffic between the Alinma Bank and STC stations.
The Riyadh Metro administration confirmed that maintenance teams worked to repair the malfunction that resulted from tampering with the emergency handles, indicating that service had returned to normal and that trains were operating according to the usual schedule.

The Riyadh Metro administration renewed its call on passengers to follow safety instructions and adhere to the regulations inside the trains, in order to ensure the safety of everyone and the smooth flow of transportation.
The Riyadh Metro announced a partial suspension of service on the blue track between the Alinma Bank and STC stations, while explaining that the suspension resulted from tampering with the emergency handles on the trains.

The Riyadh Metro administration indicated, immediately after suspending the service, that it is working to restore the service as soon as possible.

The Riyadh Metro runs on 6 tracks, with a length of 176 km covering the entire city of Riyadh. It also consists of 185 trains with 448 cars with a modern design, and its capacity is 16 million passengers per day.
