Misk Arts Week, organized by the Misk Arts Institute, affiliated with the non-profit Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk”, promotes cultural dialogue through art in the most prominent artistic event for creative production in the field of visual arts in the Kingdom, in its eighth edition at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Gallery in Riyadh. .

CEO of the Misk Arts Institute, Reem Al-Sultan, said: “In this year’s edition, we seek to enhance cultural dialogue through art, make these events an effective platform to enable artists to express themselves, and support ongoing programs that contribute to the development of the creative community in the Kingdom, in a way that achieves Objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Among the activities of this year’s edition is the Art and Design Market, which is a creative platform that goes beyond the idea of ​​the market in its literal sense and brings together more than 90 artists under one roof, providing art audiences with an opportunity to display and sell their artwork, in addition to communicating, interacting and exchanging experiences within the creative community.

Misk Arts Scholarship 2024

This year’s edition offers a group of educational programs and workshops for emerging and amateur artists, with the aim of developing their skills in several fields, including photography, illustration, and calligraphy design.
In the exhibitions section, the Digital Civilization exhibition was dedicated to bearing the name “Misk Arts Grant 2024”, as the grant was provided this year to artists from the Middle East and North Africa region to explore the phenomena shaped by modern technologies such as communication, data analysis, and algorithmic systems, and how these technologies have reshaped experiences. Riyadh Features Exhibition

The “Features of Riyadh Exhibition” highlights the tremendous developments that Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has witnessed in the last decade, as the exhibition chose to highlight a different side of the city of Riyadh.
The participating artists directed their cameras towards public spaces, Riyadh’s residential neighborhoods, and its suburbs, with a focus on architecture.
