Madbouly follows up efforts to reform and restructure economic bodies

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly stressed the importance of continuing various efforts to reform and restructure economic bodies, given the role of these reforms in dealing with many of the problems facing these bodies, in an effort to raise their efficiency and effectiveness, and increase their contribution to the domestic product. < /p>
This came during the meeting held by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, today, Monday, to follow up on the efforts of the Committee for Reform and Restructuring of Economic Bodies, in the presence of Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and Dr. Hussein Issa, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Committee for the Reform and Restructuring of Economic Bodies.
Counsel Muhammad Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that The meeting reviewed a detailed report on the efforts of the technical secretariat of the Committee for the Reform and Restructuring of Economic Bodies, which was recently formed to undertake various restructuring tasks and studies for economic bodies, with the various results being presented to the Supreme Committee for Bodies.
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat indicated that the first stage of the process of restructuring the economic bodies is concerned with examining and studying the position of the 59 economic bodies, with the aim of determining the fate of each body according to the number Among the alternatives include either maintaining this economic body, or converting it to a public body, or merging bodies together, or dividing the body into smaller bodies, or liquidating and canceling the body, or converting the economic body into a holding company, noting that To a number of standards used in restructuring economic bodies, as well as the meetings and encounters that were held with officials of these bodies to conduct a detailed analysis of the position of each body.
For his part, Dr. Hussein Issa pointed out that by completing the procedures and steps for examining and studying 40 bodies, it was agreed to maintain 29 economic bodies, liquidate and cancel one body, merge 3 bodies into other bodies, and transfer 7 Bodies from economic bodies to public bodies for a number of considerations, pointing out that it is expected to complete the examination and study of the remaining 19 bodies, and prepare the final report of the study, in preparation for presenting it to the Council of Ministers.
Dr. Hussein Issa noted, during the meeting, that the second phase will include a detailed actual restructuring of each body in its new position in a way that leads to raising efficiency and effectiveness rates and increasing the body’s contribution to the output. GDP.
