المملكة: Al-Sheikh presents the Man of the Year Award in Boxing to His Highness the Crown Prince
The World Boxing Council (WBC) awarded the “Man of the Year” award to Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, during the awards ceremony held this evening (Monday) in the German city of Hamburg.

In his statement, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh dedicated this international award to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince.
I thank the World Boxing Council (WBC) for awarding me the Boxing Man of the Year Award. We will continue to support the sport of boxing to reach its best era by providing the strongest and best fights to the public.

He said: “His Highness, may God protect him, was our first inspiration and supporter in achieving this achievement, which was achieved for the first time.”
This award is considered one of the most prominent awards in the world of boxing, as it has been received by many prominent figures throughout its history.
Among the names that received this honor are South African President Nelson Mandela, who was awarded the award in 1999, and former United States President Ronald Reagan and Pope Francis in 2019.

He is famous for his distinctive green belt, and works to set global standards for boxing, enhance safety measures, and organize world championship fights.
