"Nationalize women" Organizes a training workshop for puppet making in Giza

The National Council for Women organized a training workshop for puppet making in Giza Governorate, which targeted 15 female trainees whom it trained in the craft of “patchwork.” In 2023.

 

In that workshop, they were taught how to make handmade dolls that compete in the market and generate income that improves their livelihood opportunities.

This came within the framework of the project “Supporting and Implementing the Strategy to Combat Violence against Women,” which is implemented by the National Council for Women in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund and the Korean International Development Agency KOICA.
