A delegation from human rights organizations and human rights committees visited the Badr Correction and Rehabilitation Complex

The visiting delegation, which includes representatives of the human rights committees of the House of Representatives and the Senate, human rights officials in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice, the United Nations and the African Commission on Human Rights, made an inspection tour of a number of facilities, including the medical center, which was equipped with the latest Medical equipment and supplies to ensure the provision of distinguished medical service to inmates, and access to some of the medical care provided. For them.

They also inspected the rehabilitation and educational facilities included in the center, which are used to implement reform and rehabilitation programs on inmates, which contributed to improving their behavior, honing their various craft and artistic skills, improving their culture, and accelerating the pace of their integration into society after their release.< /p>

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was followed by a tour during which they inspected the nursery building for custodial inmates and their children and the play area, where the delegation members praised the care system provided to custodial inmates, which is a humane application of the modern penal policy.
