Mustafa Qandil announces his retirement from international football with the national rowing team

Captain Mustafa Kandil, a player for the national rowing team, announced on his personal page on social media, his retirement from international football with the national team, explaining that he will return to continue his professional career as a resident doctor in the kidney and urinary tract surgery department at Kasr Al-Aini Hospital, after the end of his conscription period.
Kandil began his career in rowing in 2012 with the Arab Contractors Club, and achieved his first championship by winning the Republic Championship and the Egypt Cup. Throughout his sporting career, he participated in many world championships, and achieved many notable achievements, the most important of which was winning first place and the gold medal in the African Championships.
In his touching message, Qandil thanked everyone who believed in him and supported him throughout his sporting career. He stressed that his current decision represents a new stage in his life, but he pointed out that “no one knows what the future holds.”
It is noteworthy that Qandil is considered one of the most prominent Egyptian rowers, having represented Egypt. At various age levels and leaving a distinctive mark on the national sport of rowing.
